Harmonized Marketing Conditions for Construction Products
The European Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 establishes harmonized marketing conditions for construction products, mandating the use of the “CE” mark. To ensure compliance with this regulation, harmonized European Standards have been developed. Manufacturers must adhere to these standards, often validated by a Factory Production Control compliance certificate from a notified body. Compliance is indicated by the “CE” marking on the product.
As a pioneer in certification, the Cyprus Certification Company serves as a Notified Certification Organization for selected construction products requiring certification by a Notified Body. Registered with the EU under number 2010, the company collaborates with bodies across European Union countries to certify various products under Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011.
